Tomato butter takes a pint of cherry tomatoes and combines it with butter and other flavors to make fresh and flavorful compound butter. How To Make Tomato Butter
Prep Tomatoes
- Move the oven rack to the shelf-closet to the broiler. Turn the oven on to broil.
- Place cherry tomatoes on a baking sheet and broil for 6-9 minutes. The skin should just start to brown and wrinkle.
Make Your Compound Butter
- Allow the tomatoes to cool to room temperature.
- In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients.
- Mix until combined, about 30-60 seconds.
