About Sarah Harper
Registered Dietitian & Creator of The Addy Bean
Welcome! I’m Sarah and this is The Addy Bean, a blog where I share simple, plant-focused recipes made for real life.
I believe eating well doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing. Most of the meals here are centered around vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, with occasional recipes featuring chicken or fish. Everything is quick, flexible, and designed to help you eat more plants without overthinking it.
Whether you’re here for a weeknight dinner idea or just trying to make food feel easier and more nourishing, I’m so glad you’re here.

My Mission
At The Addy Bean, my goal is to help you eat more plants, without the pressure to be perfect. I share quick, nutritious, and flavorful recipes that make healthy eating feel doable and satisfying.
One meal at a time, I hope to support a lifestyle that feels good for your body, your schedule, and the planet.
My Food Philosophy
I believe in a balanced, plant-focused way of eating that leaves room for flexibility. Most of the meals I share highlight vegetables, legumes, whole grains, and healthy fats, along with the occasional chicken, fish, or dairy when it fits your lifestyle.
As a registered dietitian, I’ve been promoting this practical, sustainable approach to food since 2013. It’s about finding what works for you, no strict rules, no guilt, just nourishing meals that support your health, your values, and your real life.
